questions

The things people ask before booking.

Do I need to know what I want to talk about?

No. You do not need a diagnosis, a reason, or a tidy explanation to book. A first session is a conversation. Your therapist will ask questions, and you answer as much or as little as you want to.

Who can find out I am here?

Sessions are confidential, the same as any clinical appointment. Our reminders say the time and the link and nothing else. Your payment statement shows new ground. No employer, insurer or family member is told anything by us. The limits to confidentiality are the legal ones, and your therapist will set them out in the first session.

What if I do not click with my therapist?

Tell us and we will move you. You do not have to explain why, and you will not be charged to switch. Fit matters more than loyalty.

Do I have to make an account?

There are no accounts. You give a name, an email and a mobile number, and that is all. After booking you can save those three details to your own device so rebooking takes a few seconds; that is stored on your phone or laptop, not with us, and clearing your browser clears it.

What if I need to cancel?

Reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before and we will find you another time. If something comes up later than that, tell us anyway. We do not charge cancellation fees.

How is an online session different from meeting in person?

The session runs the same way and lasts the same length of time: ninety minutes for a first session, fifty after that. You join by video from wherever you are, which means no commute and no waiting room. We will be opening a physical clinic later, and you will be able to move between the two with the same therapist.

Still not sure?

Ask us anything first. A person answers, and asking does not commit you to anything.
